Roberto's thanks
Roberto BonaventuraI conceived, wrote and produced this album thinking of the one I'd always wanted to buy. Francesco's extraordinary voice and the confidence and support of my friends and executive producers, Stefano and Edoardo, have made this dream reality.
I dedicate this "creation" to all those who, like me, were waiting for it, perhaps without even realising they were. Thank you all.
I cannot not mention the Italian emigrants all over the world, especially those originally from Naples: I feel the same, tormenting nostalgia as you!
My most heartfelt thanks go to:
God Almighty and the blessed Virgin Mary, I owe you everything.
Saint Alfonso Maria De Liguori, "the most saintly of all Neapolitans and the most Neapolitan of all saints".
Naples, one of the great loves of my life.
Stefano Govoni and Edoardo Latella. Stefano and Edoardo, I truly hope I'll make you proud of believing in me and in my music.
Francesco Malapena, you're like a brother to me. Your voice speaks straight to the heart, and you're undoubtedly my favourite singer.
Michele Centonze, for your example and advice. Choosing to have my song "Neapolis" sung by the great Luciano Pavarotti was the spark that lit up this journey.
Thanks to Maestro Luciano Pavarotti.
Francesca, your sacrifices will be rewarded, thanks for always having been there when things were tough.
Alfonso Maria, Edoardo Maria and Maria Virginia, I couldn't hope for better children.
Marco Scott Gilardi, your help has been invaluable, I won't forget it.
Maurizio Pica, my fondness for you is unchanged.
Carmine De Martino, your photography speaks for itself and for you.
Luciano Torani for the amazing mixing and precious advice.
My parents Angelo and Anna Maria, I understand how difficult it was for you to have a son like me, this album is for you, too.
My brother Mauro for having put up with my "musical invasions".
Carla, for your help and support.
Uncle Paolo, I'm convinced your prayers have made a difference.
My friends Daniele Guidazzi, Maurizio Tassani and Maurizio Sansone for their precious help during the preproduction of this album.
Federica Balucani, keep believing and your time will come.
Grandfather Filippo, aunt Giusy, aunt Silvana and grandmother Clementina, I've felt your love for me since I was small.
Grandmother Marzia and grandfather Vitaliano, I'm certain you're smiling down on me from heaven.
Gianluca Gentili and family and Tino Flamigni and family, you've been true friends to me, I'm sorry if perhaps I haven't been the same to you.
Veris Giannetti, we know what we mean to each other, thank you brother.
Laura Latella for your sensitivity and the excellent work we've done together.
Tanya, your voice stirs me, and I'm pleased to be able to entrust my songs to you.
Enrico Ercolessi, sometimes people's paths go different ways but there's no saying they won't meet again.
Pino Passante and Ivano Giovedì, you're the last two to join the team, but I'm sure we'll go a long way together.
Alessandro Passarella, for your help and support and professionalism, your equipment contributed strongly to this album.
Antonio Masiero, for your technical and professional support and your pleasant company.
Bob Fix, besides being incredibly professional, you're also an extraordinary person.
Mr. Franco Fussi and William Matteuzzi, it's been an honour working with you both, something which has given me great wealth.
Maurizio Abeni, you're highly talented and have always shown yourself to be a true friend.
Stefano Cappelli, my thanks are my esteem.
Natascia Placci, thanks for your precious help at the very beginning of this adventure.
Deborah Nicholas, you deserve my esteem and all the confidence I have in you.
